# God’s Blue Throne

Grandiloquent, creating with just speech,

O God, whom angels praise by day and night,

Deign these crowns, too, be worthy in Your sight.

Safeguard them nigh, and me, within Your reach.

Before the force of nature was unleashed,

"Let there be light," He said, and there was light.

(Up to us, the sparks to reunite.)

Evoked by love, the waves caress the beach.

The land is blanketed with grass and trees.

He fills the azure seas with teeming life,

Roaring beasts on land, with speech unblessed.

Over all His creatures, land and seas,

Nature's lord He sets, the man and wife.

Evermore and more, God grants us rest.
